Welcome!
Before I dive into what I’m sure will be an utterly thrilling autobiography, I’d like to make a disclaimer. About me pages are weird and tricky and incredibly difficult to write. Honestly, I would much rather hand this off to my husband, Jack, and let him give it a go. But in the hopes of giving site visitors a glimpse of who I am and what I do, I shall forge on.
My name is Ella (that’s an easy one), and my new last name is Rindahl. I recently married my best pal, Jack. We recently moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas after spending the last year in the Big Easy. We have two horse dogs, Bonnie and Bogey, who we treat like our precious human children until we have some actual kids up in our mix.
I graduated from a nifty little (like tiny) liberal arts college near my hometown called Hendrix College. There I wrote my own major that sums up a love of social science, photography, film, and design. I am a self-taught digital photographer and a school-educated black and white film photographer. I grew up dancing, but unfortunately for me those days have come to an end. Unless of course you find me at a wedding, bar, or concert. And if that’s the case, watch out friends. I spend my days working in sales, and my evenings/weekends freelancing in photography, video, and design. I also run blog, Unapellagetic, where I cover some of my other hobbies and thoughts.
I grew up with a lot of different passions, some that lasted years and some that lasted merely a day (if even). Creativity has always been at the center of all my endeavors. I’m the loudest person in the room, the mom of all my friends, the honest opinion even when you want it sugarcoated, and I have always been known to be unapologetically myself.
I’m thrilled you’re here! I hope you kick your feet up and stay awhile.
